McKenna

McKenna is a cosmetology student from White Plains and an emerging stylist at HBAR Salon & Spa in Stamford, where she works weekends while continuing to grow her skills and passion for the beauty industry. Set to graduate in early July, she is gaining hands-on salon experience in a fast-paced luxury environment while refining her craft behind the chair.

Her favorite services to perform are bouncy, voluminous blowouts and precision haircuts. McKenna loves helping clients feel refreshed, confident, and polished by creating styles that enhance their natural beauty and leave them feeling their absolute best.

Her passion for hair began at a young age through years of styling her own hair, practicing braids, and experimenting with color during childhood sleepovers with friends and family. What started as a creative outlet quickly grew into a true passion, and throughout cosmetology school she has continued to expand her knowledge, strengthen her technical skills, and develop her own personal style as a stylist.

When she’s not in the salon, McKenna enjoys spending time with family and friends, getting lost in a great novel, and being outdoors whenever possible. She also loves exploring new restaurants and discovering great food around the area.

What McKenna values most is the connection she builds with her clients. She strives to create a welcoming, comfortable experience from start to finish, making every guest feel confident, cared for, and excited about their new look.
