Anthony Rende Master Stylist
Anthony Rende (Anthony.at.HBAR) is the owner of HBAR Salon & Spa and can be found behind the chair six days a week! He is usually standing behind a stack of foils, as hair-lightening services are his favorite. Working with clients of various hair types and colors, he achieves a soft, natural dimension whether working with bright blondes or dimensional brunettes or long-lasting redheads. His attention to detail and desire to achieve a natural look, even on vivid colors, give a natural dimension to every client’s hair.
For more than 20 years, Anthony has been behind the chair. From high-end salons to neighborhood salons, he decided to bring the best of both worlds to HBAR where clients enjoy luxury services and a variety of salon, spa, and nail services while feeling welcome and comfortable with one-on-one service.
Anthony LOVES the connections and the conversations with each and every HBAR client, not just his own clients. It’s the relationships he builds with everyone that he loves the most about his work. Laughter and relationship-building at HBAR are what keep him going each and every day.
Anthony’s dedication to the growth of HBAR doesn’t allow for much free time. But when he isn’t at work, he can be found at home playing with his two dogs, Rubi and Cooper, decorating his house, or – more often than not – he can be found at the gym early each morning to get into a work mindset. He usually starts off his days with a giant cup of coffee followed by a workout with his personal trainer, a yoga or Pilates class, or basically any class offered at the gym!
Rhiannon Stefanick Senior Stylist
Rhiannon (@rhimixescolor) lives in Stamford with her fiancé, new baby boy and their pet snake, Linguine. She has been working in Fairfield & Westchester County salons since 2006 and was graduated from Empire Beauty School in Manhattan in 2010. She does freelance work and has recently landed herself at HBAR salon - which she
absolutely loves!
Rhiannon specializes in color, precision cutting,
Keratin treatments, hair extensions, lash extensions,
makeup and airbrush spray tanning. She loves collaborating on ideas with her clients to achieve the look that they desire. Building relationships with her
clients and being able to make them look and feel great are what continue to fuel her passions to work in the beauty industry.
In her free time, Rhiannon enjoys taking trips with her family and spending precious time with her little boy.
Ashley Marie Pelazza Junior Stylist
Ashley (@idoctorhair_) is a lifelong resident, born & raised in Stamford, CT. She's an outgoing, hard-working, and determined people-person who loves to grow and learn new things. With her magnetic and energetic personality, she knows how to build and maintain client relationships.
Some of her favorite services are fantasy color, balayage/highlighting services & extensions. For Ashley these transformations are so beyond satisfying!
Ashley has been in the haircare industry for 5 years and has been behind the chair since 2021. She has received two Master Colorist certifications from Goldwell (technician & specialist, as well as a certification in Knotless Braiding from Vanity Studio School of Cosmetology. She also holds certifications Keratin smoothing treatments in addition to many other treatments.
Outside of the salon, Ashley is a family woman who loves spending time with her beautiful son and husband. She loves to exercise, to travel and to do art in her free time. My friends are also a huge part of my life and my support system.
Ashley loves helping her clients look and, most importantly, FEEL their most BEAUTIFUL selves. That in itself is all the gratification she needs!

Hey there! A little bit about me is that I love summer, the beach, and iconic looks! I also have 5 cats. I know that’s a lot but 3 of them are related!
My favorite thing about my job is the fact that I can help people gain confidence by giving them a new look. Hair is all about perspective and personality, and the key to an iconic look is investing in yourself. I always say if you invest in your hair it should be the best it’s ever been.
With that said, I love gaining a client’s trust. With trust we can accomplish a lot together - We can reach your hair goals together!
Growing up I always loved giving people makeovers. I started doing my own hair in second grade; it’s like once I started I never really stopped. I also grew up in the salon environment with my mother, who is also in the beauty industry. I got my cosmetology license in 2021 - doing hair has always been a part of my lifestyle. And I love spending time with loved ones while also staying productive.
Angel Medrano Master Barber
Angel is the barber at HBAR Salon and Spa. His favorite and specialty services include fades and scissor cuts - these are the talents that reflect what he's most passionate about in helping to make men look and feel their best. But he also does a mean beard trim!
For more than 20 years, Angel has mastered the barbering craft and can do a skin fade with his eyes closed (though he won't actually do it with his eyes closed). But if he did, it would still come out perfect every time! He currently lives in Stamford but was born and raised in the Dominican Republic (DR). He is the father of three amazing kids; two of which still live in the DR. He tries to travel back as often as possible to visit his children and his family.
Angel's English isn't perfect but he is practicing every day at the salon and with his clients because he loves to get to know everyone. Sometimes he's afraid that his language barrier holds him back, but that doesn't stop him from getting to know his clients and working on learning more every day.

Cecilia Chavez Esthetician
Cecilia (@cecilias_skin_corner_at_hbar_) loves helping clients reach their skin care goals. She also loves helping people take a break from their busy lives by finding the time to relax while at the spa. She is a Dermalogica expert who knows various gua sha techniques and different approaches to lymphatic drainage, as well as pressure point massage.
Cecilia's favorite services at HBAR are the HBAR facial, chemical peels, lymphatic drainage and pressure point massages for clients who suffer from allergies.
In her free time, Cecilia loves to spend time with her three kids, take road trips, go to the beach or spend time with extended family. She lives in New Jersey but commutes to work because she loves what she does - helping clients and also being with her work family.
